I have been using the map before and tried out the new edition for a while: advantage is that OSM is now the default background so you don’t have to select it each time the system times out. But zooming in and out, moving and selecting a building for information are now separate buttons you have to choose which is less user-friendly. I hope that can will be improved. To zoom out, clicking or double-clicking doesn’t work: you should select an area.
Most villages are not in the database at all, usually only the main town in an obshtina.
I hope they will implement the new EU directive, though that may need political involvement (i.e. a lot of time and maybe a few more elections…). Could we already start working towards importing these data into OSM? I’ve been manually importing some data so can contribute with my UX. I’ve made this table of correspondence between KAIS terminilogy and OSM building tags:
