I’ve split this topic of sidewalk-driveway crossings off into its own thread
Forum mods can afaik split threads properly and move posts to new threads.
@mods-general is it possible to move the posts starting from this one to a new thread?

It really depends. Usually, only true cycleways, cycle lanes, or segregated cycle/footways get painted in high vis color, to hint that this is exclusive for riding a bike. But if a non-segregated cycle/footway crosses a road, then the crossing will usually be segregated, so in this case, only the crossing will have the high vis color:
