Vicmap - additional data in more recent years

Looking at the ‘Australian Data Sources’ page for OSM, I note that the waivers are a few years old and that there is more data available with Vicmap since then that may be of interest for OSM.
A couple of examples are as follows, see also a PDF from a map I’ve created in MapInfo at: Dropbox

  • Water hydrants - these can be found on the ‘HY_WATER_STRUCT_POINT’ layer within Vicmap Hydro.

  • Overhead powerlines (local as well as medium / high voltage) - these can be found on the ‘POWER_LINE‘ layer within Vicmap Features.

Hi John,

The waiver we have from vicmap seems to cover all data that has a CC BY 4.0 Licence

So I think you would be safe in using that data in OSM
