Usage of cadastral website of a Canton to map OpenStreetMap

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if it is fine to use the cadastral website of a Canton (more specifically Neuchâtel and Vaud) to map adresses and fix street names?
I’m not so familiar at the moment with JOSM so I’m using ID and don’t use WSM.
Is this allowed?
Thanks

As we are in Switzerland it is different from canton to canton
There is a wiki-page showing what we can use
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Switzerland/Datasources
Neuchâtel seems Ok, for Vaud the webpage with the information is not reachable at the moment.

Thanks for the reply. I saw it but I wasn’t sure as they talk about the orthophoto.
I will concentrate on Neuchâtel then

Yes the ortophotos are very prominent on top, but if you scroll further down you will find the other sources under " Compliant sources from Cantons" or even cities (Vevey seems to be very fine ;-))

You can use address data from the GWR (Federal Register of Buildings and Dwellings).

@SimonPoole has created an excellent address dashboard, which allows you and download (missing) addresses. This data can then be imported into tools such as JOSM (Java OpenStreetMap Editor).

I’m currently working on an import guide for importing addresses from the GWR in JOSM, which I’ll share here soon for feedback.
