Tagging apartment numbers in a useful way

At OpenStreetMap I have tried tagged a number of apartments/rowhouses, but the numbers don’t show up on in the map at openstreemap.org. I know I’m not only mapping for openstreetmap.org, but it would be much more useful, if I could tag in a way which is actually shown on the important map.

The apartments/rowhouses all share one address:
Præstevangen 3b, see this photo for of a physical map at the site.

So for now, I used the entrance tag. Is there a more useful tag I should use?

I would use addr:unit on the entrance nodes rather than ref

I would also tag addr:housenumber and addr:street on the building ways, rather than as a floating node, so that the building and its entrances can all be tied together. If you don’t want to tag the building ways, you can add addr:housenumber and addr:street on each entrances

There is also a Danish subforum Danmark (Denmark) - OpenStreetMap Community Forum that might be able to confirm country-specific tagging norms
