OS bench mark symbol in printed documents

I’m looking for examples of the OS benchmark being used in running text in printed documents, like the one in the penultimate paragraph of this page:

Page:Midland naturalist (IA midlandnaturalis01lond).pdf/27 - Wikisource, the free online library

Do any of you know of any?

It’s not exactly easy to search for!

If I can find more examples, I plan to propose a Unicode symbol for the bench mark character.

It possible Lawrence Penny can cite you an example or two or suggest how to find.

Assume it’s not an AFJ. Those things are so pre-post-post-truth.

I’ve dropped a thread over here too, hope you get some nerdy feedback!
