Could you elaborate on your usage of Mapillary for AEDs?
Are you taking Mapillary images yourself or mapping AEDs based on existing images?
Images are resized and converted to webp on the backend. This is why they don’t have EXIF metadata.
We could save lat/lon from EXIF to the database but that can be less accurate that location chosen by the user.
I think that could be useful for Quality Assurance but not to an average user.
From my experience in Poland AEDs outside of building are rare. Those inside are rarely marked outside so I wouldn’t expect to find images of them in Mapillary/Panoramax etc. unless I would take photos myself.
