iD Wikidata brand suggestion Index and company logo

Hey,

I’ve already searched but haven’t found an answer to my question.

In id editor, when I type Kärcher as the brand, suggested tags appear, once confirmed the Kärcher logo also appears in the iD editor.
However, when I enter FrieslandCampina as mer, no suggestions appear, and if I enter everything manually, the company logo is also not visible. Does anyone know how this happens?

You essentially answered the question already yourself: brands and logos and suggested tagging appear in iD (and other editors) when the chain has an entry in the NSI, and FrieslandCampina doesn’t seem to have one.

Solution add an entry to the NSI if you believe that it is necessary.

That is just the “website” showing off the data, for changes you need to open a PR here GitHub - osmlab/name-suggestion-index: Canonical common brand names, operators, transit and flags for OpenStreetMap.

Thx I also found https://github.com/osmlab/name-suggestion-index/blob/main/CONTRIBUTING.md but its for more advanced users…
