In an ideal world, every wiki page would be translated to every language and all languages would always be kept up to date with each other. A more achievable goal might be to translate as many of the most important pages as possible to whichever languages you can, while keeping them reasonably accurate. Which I believe is the case with German (Deutsch) where the are a lot of German-speaking editors who greatly benefit from German documentation as opposed to English.
In Hebrew we don’t really bother. Even in this forum we nearly always communicate in English even though Hebrew is probably the mother tongue for most users of this forum - moreso than English at least. Take a look at any other regional subforum - they use their native language.
For whatever reason, our status quo is to make do with English. I guess someone at some point tried to translate some wiki pages to Hebrew. This must be a remnant from that.
I’m not inherently opposed to translating wiki pages to Hebrew, but I do think that it might be too big of an undertaking for the size of our community, and with only limited benefit as many of us are fluent enough in English to use the English wiki pages. But it must be said that “many of us” is not “all of us” - some potential mappers are almost certainly being excluded or heavily discouraged from mapping simply because of the lack of Hebrew in documentation and communication.
So if you’re up for it, go ahead and update the Hebrew version of that page to match the English version. If you’re not, and you think the page is too wrong/out of date to be of any use, I say go ahead and delete it.
We don’t bother maintaining Hebrew wiki pages, but perhaps we should.
I don’t think we have the resources to maintain the Hebrew pages.
But, the page I linked is not even translated. So I am wondering what purpose it used to serve.
Don’t think we should keep it, looks like it was a try to make an Israel specific version, not to translate it.
After checking, only this note might be useful to take to the main page:
