YOURS-Routing: Traveltime=0 while Distance<>0

Hello,
I am new here and I don’t know if this is the right place for my post.
I am using YOURS for routing purposes.
Sometimes I get results like this:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

KML Samples
159.417725
0
To enable simple instructions add: ‘instructions=1’ as parameter to the URL

The parameters that I use to produce the result shown above is:
http://www.yournavigation.org/api/1.0/gosmore.php?format=KML&flat=48.47804&flon=10.9380600&tlat=48.140350&tlon=11.557768&v=motorcar&fast=1&layer=mapnik&instructions=0&geometry=0&lang=en_US

Any idea why this happens or how to get round this problem appreciated.

Cheers,
Fritz

Do you have your own YOURS server and database, or via public main server?

BTW: according to http://www.yournavigation.org the database has not been updated for one whole year :frowning:

Is there anything we can do as normal users to support a database update? Lambertus?

True, the database hasn’t been updated in a long while. I’ll try to commence an update. But if you want to help: find a way to make my little one sleep through the night…

Thanks for the quick responses! Much appreciated.

  • I use the public database, not a locally installed one.
  • why does the result of the query show a value for but none for ?
I would have expected either none for both values or any result <>0 for both parameters!
  • As I have chosen YOURS to execute routing excercises very frequently, what is the “normal” update cycle of its database?
And, furthermore: how reliable are the results?

Regards,
Fritz

Hi Lambertus, any update on this issue? Cheers, Fritz
