Preliminarily I installed several tiles on my gpsmap 60csx and on Mapsource.
The version on the 60csx I combined with a typfile as provided for the complete Germany routable map of OSM.
On both versions (device / MS) I now have the same problem:
When zooming out beyond a scale of 3 km the OSM-roads disappear. The principal roads may dissapear partially and disappear completely with the next step (5 km)
The roads of the basemap remain visible.
Beyond a scale of 5 km the map looks quite useless:
The OSM-roads are disappeared, while the rivers and the private/public boundaries remained visible. As I understood, the problem relies to the levels attached to the various elements, but I cannot identify whether this is a problem of the OSM-data or the generation of the map.
