I changed the title because it misinterprets my issue and is misleading.
I am not at all critical of paid mappers, only if they are poorly paid.
A fundraising campaign by the OSMF for money for paid programmers would even be welcome
to collect to advance the development of the API.
In the German part of this forum, a lot of strange things have happened lately
have destroyed trust in a fair consideration of my concern at the place there.
Also, I don’t accuse anyone of breaking any rule, I’m the only one
which it seems amazing that the minimally small part of data sellers
(I’m only talking about Germany here, I’ve never had anything to do with others)
to the large contributor community
Is in charge of establishing and enforcing rules and relevance discussions.
Should it not be customary for the data seller to be extremely reluctant to create
discussion and voting
practice the same.
Anyone selling data can call themselves Mickey Mouse, start a discussion,
negotiate a ‘community consensus’ with other Mickey Mouses
(Mickey Mouses are known to be well networked underground), and sometimes a rabbit or hedgehog raises them
Hand with a ‘But…’ it will be flattened with all Mickey Mouse power.
This has been common practice in the German part of the forum for a long time.
@flohoff your interpretation of the lifecycle prefix is very one-sided,
I read that there is a certain degree of relevance, about the who lifecycle prefix to that effect
has changed, that it is only valid for a certain period of time, we don’t need to talk, do we?
It was ‘The Mickey Mouses’.
Yes, the Geofabrik has merits at OSM, but primarily the focus is on OSM Fit for
to do the marketing, which in itself doesn’t have to be a bad thing. But that’s the
destruction of the livelihoods of fringe groups is not only accepted with approval,
but being consciously driven forward is the reason for this thread.
It’s nice that Nakaner can be ‘private’ with his comments,
just like he probably is as a moderator in the German forum,
and when discussing in FossGis when it comes to the allocation of funding.
What a fine fellow, in politics he would still be called a lobbyist
why?
In short, I was lucky enough to see OSM as an open, creative,
to get to know a tolerant project
(and I don’t just mean that on paper, it was lived).
My contribution actually only serves if the ‘Mickey Mouses’ only want their customers
through paid mappers, and someone wonders what happened there,
no one can claim they didn’t know anything…
