unit numbers in independent living or retirment villages

hi
New here but would like some info if we can number drive thru complexes like retirement villages etc, we deliver to a lot of these locations and finding units within the complex can be hard, many places will give us a map so i can plot the correct unit numbers. I would like to be able to plot the customers we have and have them show up in the OSM app on my phone.

Does anyone know if this is possible or if we can do our own custom overlays

See https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:addr#Detailed_subkeys you can use the addr:unit tag to add the unit number.

You can add this to either a point where the unit is, or trace out each unit building and add addr:unit to each building outline.
