Translate button not showing if post contains quoted parts in user language

For example, I use English UI, and would like to translate to English posts which are in non-English language. However, it seems that if post contains big parts of quoted text in English, even if all of the non-quoted parts are in other language, translate icon is not being shown.

E.g. this post in Dutch contains quoted parts in English, and is untranslatable .

It seems this is a known limitation of the plugin language autodetection

Not sure if someone reported this upstream

is it possible to set it to manual? Just always show the translation button and let the user decide when to click on it?

I don’t see that as a plugin feature, so it will require opening a feature request with the plugin authors.

The problem is still very there, no translate button if the first line is in the language as per the user’s profile interface language preference (Mine is set to English UK) so a Russian quote below an English starting sentence wont work.
