Hello,
some tram stops also have a station waypoint. (for example Heizel in Brussels) Openrailwaymap interprets the railway=station as a mainline station. (which honestly is what the tag indicates) which in turn makes that map unreadable, especially in the Brussels area.
People working on OSM in other countries have told me a tram stop should never have a station tag, so the best would be to just remove this waypoint. (after all the tram stops themselves are also indicated) To be fair, I don’t see any other country using this technique of labeling tram stations on top of the individual tram stops.
But logically, before I do so I’d like to know the opinion of the Belgian community itself.
