Ahoj,
there is a tram stop platform (this OSM entity) which has different heights (“normal” wheelchair-friendly height at the front part, low height at the rear part, and a constant slope in between). It is a newly made platform with otherwise up to date accessibility standards.
It is not on a road side, but there are dedicated tram tracks without any surface to walk.
I am asking how to map the height=*
tag (height of the platform above the rails):
- Put the
height=*
on the whole platform and use the height value of the wheelchair friendly part? - Split the platform into three parts (the higher part, the slope, and the lower part), and put individual
height=*
values on the two constant height parts? (And what to do with the sloped part?)- And in that case is it needed/ advisable to put the three parts into a relation, because it is otherwise still one platform?
Regards!
More local traffic background:
The trams that usually stop there are short enough to completely fit on the barrier-free height part, but in case of diversion also longer trams can stop there whose rear part then fits only on the lower part. (Wheelchair space in the trams is generally at the front door, since there also is the ramp for other stops which are not wheelchair friendly). And when such a long tram stops there in case of planned diversion, there is even an announcement that barrier free exit is only in the front part.
