First, I want to extend a big thank you to the OSM US community for your feedback and participation on TomTom’s editing challenges in 2023. Your guidance and collective wisdom has helped us continuously improve through the year.
In January we have a new challenge for the United States where there are nodes close to nearby highways but are disconnected: https://maproulette.org/browse/challenges/43039

We expect most situations can be resolved by connecting highways, slightly realigning nodes and ways, or in some cases adding the noexit=yes tag.
Our editing team plans to pick-up this challenge in a couple of weeks starting after January 29, 2024. As always, the challenge is public, so anyone that’s interested can take a look at the tasks or participate.
At the start we’ve loaded 500 tasks to gather feedback. Assuming all goes well, more tasks would be added towards the end of January or early February.
