Is there solution for properly mapping time zones in OSM?
There is timezone tag but it does not seem to help rendering time zone map or safely recognize which timezone is on specific location.
I’m not sure where the time zone is tagged, it would be nice if it is tagged in the boundary relation of a country or part of country (for countries that have multiple time zones). If you then color the area depending on the time zone, I think that’s all you need.

Thanks. Your hits led me to the https://github.com/evansiroky/timezone-boundary-builder that seems lik viableoption. however it does create strange time zone map.
I was hoping to get to something more like this https://www.timeanddate.com/time/map/
