Welcome to damn hot July monthly update. It’s still July and we know it but we do nothing more this month so we can report already.
We decided that new mappy is now at least as good as old mappy so we will finally switch off old for new next month. Yay!
Still we are not going to close rework mappy issue. We hope to delete at least as much JavaScript code we need to write yet. We love to delete JavaScript code.
We are sorry but we didn’t know that we should report also the availability of RapiD v2 in our web clients. (It’s Rapid in fact, but we hate the disconnection from the original iD editor.) RapiD v2 is supported because it became the default and we even don’t know if RapiD v1 is yet somewhere available. If it is and you need it, or another editor, please, let us know! In the meantime, feel free to test RapiD v2 integrated but not really in the panel. Or not integrated but really in the mappy.
We love to see new areas beeing tooted. We also love to see abandoned areas beeing tooted. If you also love to see your area beeing tooted, consider adding its RSS to feedsin.space (and please also consider unlisted toots and that the area id will be recycled when the area is finished).
