I’m trying to figure out how to tag these “Staging Areas” at airports. They seem to be used to store baggage transports, reload deicing equipment, etc.
I didn’t think
aeroway=apron fits since aircraft don’t actually go there. It’s currently tagged as amenity=parking but this doesn’t seem right to me, as there are no parking spots. I was thinking highway=service + access=private + area=yes, but I’d like to hear what others think.
