OK, I had a look at my profile, and wanted to edit it.
Well at the top left there is indeed an Edit button. Don’t press that!!
Instead scroll down. At the bottom you’ll see an “Edit Profile” button. That’s the one you want to press. Good thing I scrolled down and stumbled upon it.
Now edit buttons should be closer to what they allow you to edit. Of course you can still argue that the map edit button should be disabled or removed on non-map pages because you can’t see the place you’re about to edit.
In my case, especially after pressing the “Edit Profile Details” button, it expands with all the available Edit buttons, and because I have no social links, it fits well next to the profile’s description. Imagine having that below the description. It would end up an empty space next to the social links and the footer features of the profile would go even further down.
