Struggling with opening_hours syntax

I wanted to solve a note with a photo of opening hours and just can’t find a solution. (The whole opening hours on their website). Directly translated from German it is:

  • Breakfast 07.00 - 10.00
  • Weekend & public holiday from 08.00 a.m.
  • Large meal 12.00 - 14.00 & 18.00 - 21.30
  • Small meal 14.00 - 17.30 (from 01 March - 30 September)
  • Closed from 01 October to 01 March from 15:00 - 18:00
  • Mondays & Tuesdays closed
German Original

Muntermacher 07.00 – 10.00 Uhr
Wochenende & Feiertag ab 08.00 Uhr

Etappenstärkung 12.00 – 14.00
& 18.00 – 21.30 Uhr

Kleine Einkehr 14.00 – 17.30 Uhr (vom 01. März - 30.September )
vom 01.Oktober bis 01. März von 15.00 Uhr- 18.00 Uhr geschlossen

Is that correct and can’t it be shorter? Or are the opening hours just that complicated? Thanks!

I think this is one of those cases where opening_hours being focused on being machine readable really sticks out, because while it looks incredibly ugly and messy, that’s probably the best you’re going to get it.

I can’t see any obvious formatting errors in there, and some playing around in the evaluation tool can’t find any issues that stand out to me.

This seems to be correct.

Oct 01-Mar 01: 15:00-18:00 off

You can simply leave out this rule - there are no other entries opening the shop at this time.

The meals can combined, only extending the open time on weekdays
