Street complete .... wie löscht der seine Bilder / Bildgröße

bei StreetComplete kann man Bilder hinterlegen, die dann in den Nodes auch verlinkt sind.

Prüft das Programm automatisch ob die Notes geschlossen sind und löscht dann seine Bilder automatisch oder müssen wir aktiv werden in irgendeiner Art und Weise?

Dann gleich noch eine Frage hinterher - wie werden die Bilder nochgeladen? Komprimiert oder in voller Größe. Interessant für Nutzer mit begrenztem Traffic.

Does the program automatically check if the notes are closed and then delete its images automatically or do we have to take action in some way?

yes, this images are automatically deleted some time after note closure

they should not be treated as permanent

Since the images are binned the moment ‘memory’ expires on the completed notes ( 1week IIRC to have read) it makes sense. Eats space. That said, on-the-fly compression during transmission would probable achieve similar bandwidth consumption. Hope the storage on my device is not reduced as all imagery with gps readings automatically go to my cloud store.

Oh, not sure, does StreetComplete have ‘over wifi only’ setting… and the answer is yes, that preference is there.
