Me OpenStreetMap Belgiumissa työskentelemme parhaillaan järjestämässä State of the Map Europe 2023 -tapahtumaa, ensimmäistä kertaa lähes vuosikymmeneen! Tapahtuma järjestetään Antwerpenissä, Belgiassa 10.-12. marraskuuta 2023. Siitä tulee hybridikonferenssi, joka muistuttaa hyvin paljon kansainvälistä State of the Map -tapahtumaa, jota ei järjestetä tänä vuonna. Järjestelytiimimme etsii apua! Meillä on pieni ydinryhmä OSMbe:stä, ja TomTomin tapahtumajärjestäjät tukevat meitä käytännön asioissa. Juuri nyt etsimme apua lähinnä seuraaviin asioihin:
- sponsoreiden löytämiseen ja yhteydenottoon
- ohjelmatoimikunta: auttaa päättämään tapahtuman sisällöstä.
Tarvitsisimme myös hieman apua näissä tehtävissä:
- apua verkkosivujen ylläpidossa
- puhujien kutsun järjestämisessä (pretalx).
- verkkoon osallistumisesta vastaava
- matka-apurahaohjelma (jos sponsorointi sallii).
- vapaaehtoistyön koordinaattori
Kyseessä on Euroopan alueellinen State of the Map -tapahtuma, joten toivomme osallistujia koko mantereelta.

We at OpenStreetMap Belgium are currently working on organizing State of the Map Europe 2023, for the first time in nearly a decade! This event will take place in Antwerp, Belgium from November 10th – 12th, 2023. It will be a hybrid conference, very similar to the internation State of the Map, which isn’t happening this year. Our organizing team is looking for help! We have a small core group from OSMbe, and we are supported by TomTom event organisers for practical aspects. Right now, we’re looking for help mostly for:
- finding and contacting sponsors
- program committee: help decide the content of the event
We could also use a little help with these tasks:
- help with website maintenance
- set up call for speakers (pretalx)
- online participation responsible
- travel grant program (if sponsoring permits)
- volunteer coordinator
This is a regional State of the Map for Europe, so we’re hoping for some participation from accross the continent.
