Vi i OpenStreetMap Belgium jobber for tiden med å organisere State of the Map Europe 2023, for første gang på nesten ti år! Dette arrangementet vil finne sted i Antwerpen, Belgia fra 10. til 12. november 2023. Det blir en hybridkonferanse, veldig lik den internasjonale State of the Map, som ikke finner sted i år. Organisasjonsteamet vårt trenger hjelp! Vi har en liten kjernegruppe fra OSMbe, og vi får støtte fra TomTom-arrangører for praktiske aspekter. Akkurat nå ser vi mest etter hjelp til:
- å finne og kontakte sponsorer
- programkomiteen: hjelp til å bestemme innholdet i arrangementet.
Vi kunne også trenge litt hjelp med disse oppgavene:
- hjelp med vedlikehold av nettstedet
- sette opp oppfordring til foredragsholdere (pretalx)
- ansvarlig for online deltakelse
- reisestipendprogram (hvis sponsing tillater det)
- koordinator for frivillige
Dette er en regional State of the Map for Europa, så vi håper på deltakelse fra hele kontinentet.

We at OpenStreetMap Belgium are currently working on organizing State of the Map Europe 2023, for the first time in nearly a decade! This event will take place in Antwerp, Belgium from November 10th – 12th, 2023. It will be a hybrid conference, very similar to the internation State of the Map, which isn’t happening this year. Our organizing team is looking for help! We have a small core group from OSMbe, and we are supported by TomTom event organisers for practical aspects. Right now, we’re looking for help mostly for:
- finding and contacting sponsors
- program committee: help decide the content of the event
We could also use a little help with these tasks:
- help with website maintenance
- set up call for speakers (pretalx)
- online participation responsible
- travel grant program (if sponsoring permits)
- volunteer coordinator
This is a regional State of the Map for Europe, so we’re hoping for some participation from accross the continent.
