En OpenStreetMap Bélgica estamos trabajando actualmente en la organización de State of the Map Europe 2023, ¡por primera vez en casi una década! Este evento tendrá lugar en Amberes, Bélgica, del 10 al 12 de noviembre de 2023. Será una conferencia híbrida, muy similar al State of the Map internacional, que no se celebrará este año. Nuestro equipo organizador necesita ayuda. Tenemos un pequeño grupo central de OSMbe, y contamos con el apoyo de TomTom organizadores de eventos para los aspectos prácticos. En este momento, estamos buscando ayuda sobre todo para:
- búsqueda y contacto con patrocinadores
- comité del programa: ayudar a decidir el contenido del evento
También nos vendría bien un poco de ayuda con estas tareas
- ayuda con el mantenimiento de la página web
- organizar la convocatoria de ponentes (pretalx)
- responsable de la participación en línea
- programa de becas de viaje (si el patrocinador lo permite)
- coordinador de voluntarios
Se trata de un State of the Map regional para Europa, por lo que esperamos la participación de todo el continente.

We at OpenStreetMap Belgium are currently working on organizing State of the Map Europe 2023, for the first time in nearly a decade! This event will take place in Antwerp, Belgium from November 10th – 12th, 2023. It will be a hybrid conference, very similar to the internation State of the Map, which isn’t happening this year. Mark your agenda already, and sign up for updates at https://stateofthemap.eu/
Our organizing team is looking for help! We have a small core group from OSMbe, and we are supported by TomTom event organisers for practical aspects. Right now, we’re looking for help mostly for:
- finding and contacting sponsors
- program committee: help decide the content of the event
We could also use a little help with these tasks:
- help with website maintenance
- set up call for speakers (pretalx)
- online participation responsible
- travel grant program (if sponsoring permits)
- volunteer coordinator
This is a regional State of the Map for Europe, so we’re hoping for some participation from accross the continent.
