Southern Hemisphere shield rendering bug fix in OSM-Americana

Edit: April Fools’. Hope this gave y’all a chuckle. Original post below.

It was recently brought to the attention of the OpenStreetMap-Americana maintainer team that there was a glaring bug with route shield rendering in the Southern Hemisphere. For those unaware, OpenStreetMap-Americana is developing a route shield rendering library for Maplibre GL JS, along with an inventory of shield icons and a style definition which maps values of network=* to them. We strive to represent shields the way locals would expect them to be shown on a map (or on the ground) as recognizable navigational aids.

I went ahead and fixed the issue last night—see for yourself!

Ah, so you’ve rendered the map the proper way up! Thanks!
