Some way objects in Milan are uncomplete and multiple

there are a number of ways that are present only as a list of multiple, uncomplete nodes:

Via San Bernardo, Milano
Segment 1:

Segment 2:

Segment 3:

don’t find any object that groups them together, i donnow if it is a mistake or i am missing something.
Many streets in milan are in the same situation.

I didn’t really understand what the problem is with those ways. Anyway, could this thread be moved to Italia (Italy) - OpenStreetMap Community Forum?

if i search for Via San Bernardo Milano i would expect to find a single way object that covers the entire street. On the contrary i find three results with the same name that represent parts of the Via Sambernardo. Yes it can be moved to Italy community I don’t know how to do it

This is quite common in OpenStreetMap. Streets are often split in segments to map in detail different surfaces, sidewalk situation, smoothness, to correctly route buses ecc.

But yes, the two segments you linked (you linked the same segment twice in #1 and #2) could be merged since they share the same tags and relations.

Thank you for your explanation, I understand that a street can be further described, but for me it is strange there is no complete object for the road. Also object names are misleading
