Seasonal changing opening hours syntax

Yesterday visited a nature reserve which has this opening hours sign next to the always open gate applying to the info office.

I don’t know if OSM goes by the meteorological calendar of whole months rather than the ‘seasonal’ calendar so came up with these

Mar 21-Jun 20: Mo-Su 10:00-13:00, 15:00-18:00; Jun 21-Sep 20: 10:00-13:00, 15:00-19:00; Sep 21-Mar 20: Mo-Fr 10:00-13:00, 15:00-17:00

and if truly seasonal

spring: Mo-Su 10:00-13:00, 15:00-18:00; summer: 10:00-13:00, 15:00-19:00; autumn-winter: Mo-Fr 10:00-13:00, 15:00-17:00

When meteorological it just would turn it to a simple Mar-May:…, Jun-Aug:…, Sep-Feb:… which it isn’t.

If readying manualS correctly of course.

Currently the opening hours grammar does not contain values for seasons (see Key:opening hours/specification - OpenStreetMap Wiki). so

doesn’t actually work. Obviously these values could be defined, but the problem is the rabbit hole of what exactly the definition should be.

Went for the elaborate notation i.e. Mar 21-Jun 20: Mo-Su 10:00-13:00, 15:00-18:00; Jun 21-Sep 20: 10:00-13:00, 15:00-19:00; Sep 21-Mar 20: Mo-Fr 10:00-13:00, 15:00-17:00. We’ll see if any QA parser gets upset with this one and since it’s all day of the week left out Mo-Su from the Jun 21-Sep 20 season to test the waters.
