Routing failure

Any ideas on why this foot-mode routing results in this long route? http://www.openstreetmap.org/directions?engine=graphhopper_foot&route=60.23528%2C25.04399%3B60.23525%2C25.04399#map=19/60.23516/25.04503

I can’t see any obvious reasons for why it can’t just go straight between the start and end points. Rather than just fixing this by re-editing the ways I’d really like to know the reason(s) for this failure.

Before “trying” to correct that issue straight ahead, please let’s try to figure out what is wrong with current situation with map data. Maybe we can learn something new.

That way is only for bikes! No foots!

No, can’t be. Same problem with bike … http://www.openstreetmap.org/directions?engine=graphhopper_bicycle&route=60.23528%2C25.04399%3B60.23525%2C25.04399#map=17/60.23465/25.04674

something was unconnected

Probably so. Unbelievable that I fell for this again. Not the first time, but hopefully you learn from your mistakes. Thanks for the help and Captain Obvious for fixing the problem. Have a nice weekend! http://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/52893906
