[RFC] Feature Proposal - Key:amusement arcade

I suggest we create a new tagging scheme to describe different types of arcade machines, like we have with playground equipment. I’ve gathered some possible tags in the proposal page.

Please, cross post this announcement on the tagging mailing list on my behalf by sending an email to: tagging@openstreetmap.org

Using amusement_arcade= as a feature is undesirable. It should mean the attribute of the =amusement_arcade . playground= is an outlier in the past. Discussion of the zoo tag - #5 by Casey_boy
I can already see =claw and =virtual_reality being obvious candidates for =amusement_arcade + amusement_arcade= to characterize them generally. Claw only or majority centers are common in Asia. The documented virtual_reality=yes only shows the existence of VR, not main or exclusive provision. Tag:leisure=amusement_arcade - OpenStreetMap Wiki
Suggest instead eg leisure= =arcade_machine / =arcade_game + arcade_machine= / arcade_game= (maybe arcade_machine= could be used for describing the machine, eg analog vs digital vs online-linked, or even separating them to differentiating different VR games)

Good points! I read your comments on the wiki page too, I’ll wait for more thoughts and update it to reflect the criticism later.

I reworked the page to use the new scheme leisure=arcade_machine and arcade_game=*, would you look into it if it makes more sense now?
