Request: Attiki Odos sign and numbering update

Mapillary contributors in and around Attica are kindly requested to do a full reassessment of the Attiki Odos motorways, which include the A6, A62, A64, A65 and A642.

This is because I have received reports that Attiki Odos is changing the signage from all-uppercase to mixed-case, and this may mean changes to the destinations shown.

I have little usable information on whether or not Attiki Odos has finally adopted the 2015 road numbers: as of now the road numbers should not be changed until we have usable confirmation, which is via Mapillary.

With the help of a photograph kindly provided by a new mapper in the Matrix chat, it seems you were correct in suspecting there may be an adjustment in the numbering:

It seems the changes of the numbers occurred in 2015, but because the signage didn’t change until now, it’s like it never happened.

Officially, the renumbering is stated at Υπουργική Απόφαση ΔΟΥ/5776/2015 ή ΦΕΚ 253/ΑΑΠ/2015 (21-12-2015) of the Greek Government Gazette.
