Replying by email doesn't always work

Often I reply to posts via email. Today I was able to post this reply via email. I sent the email and it appeared on the website within a few minutes, as normal.

I tried to email this reply several times and it never worked. I eventually copy/pasted it into the web form and the reply worked. I sent emails on 2023-12-03 17:07 +01:00, 2023-12-04 09:10 +01:00 and 2023-12-04 09:10 +01:00. In all cases, I received no reply email telling me the reply wasn’t accepted.
