Rapid v2.4 released today!

Happy Friday! We just released Rapid Editor v2.4 :tada:

This release improves Rapid’s text localization, and makes it easier to work with street-level data like Mapillary. Now you can inspect detected objects, such as traffic signs, crosswalks, bike racks, and more!

That’s cool! It would be cool to have a filter for already mapped features, so that the “Crosswalk” icon would disappear if a highway=crossing or footway=crossing is mapped nearby. So users could focus on adding data that is not present yet in the database.

Yes, I agree! I’ve thought about this too, but I don’t know how we’d build it currently.

This might be possible if we could store some data on the already mapped OSM feature in a tag, like mapillary=* or something similar (mapillary:detection=*?)
