Is public transport mapping of bus routes for circular routes need master route ?

If there is only one route relation, then a route_master relation is not required but allowed.

So the color code is added to the master route ?

I’m the author of PTNA and ptna expects “colour” to be set in every route/route_master relation. You’ll never know what the various tools will read

  • SketchLine (Overpass-API call) does not recognize route_masters for instance and does not very well handle public_transport=platform/stop_position together with highway=bus_stop

BTW: ptna has some analysis for India as well. Adding your area, if not alreaedy included, is quite easy.
