Profile [Edits] Count?

I have been using OpenStreetMap since 2014, and my profile currently shows 3,708 edits. I wonder how these edits increase. For example, if I map 10 buildings on the map, will my total edits increase by 1, resulting in 3,709, or will it increase by 10, resulting in 3,718?"

It’s counting the changesets. If you want a bit more details and the number of changes, please have a look at
