When I reply via mail to a post nothing happens (mail is sent, no reply and is not published on community.osm)
Works for me.
I can’t comment on posting by email, but earlier today there was a gap in emails received in “mailing list mode” followed by a splurge afterwards.
Maybe whatever the issue was is resolved?
3 hours and 20 minutes ago I replied to this with an email message which said:
The same happened to me on 20 December around 9:40 UTC. Let’s see if this reply which I am sending by email will get through! I’m adding a few useless sentences to combat the “posting too short” message.
Until now, that email does not seem to have made it here…
yes, to me it seems none of the emails I sent made it through since the system came back after the downtime a few days ago

I have’ve added a temporarily workaround for the issue. It looks like our dual ISP Equinix / HE.net and some of the policy routing has broken the networking of the docker container used for forwarding SMTP to the community site.
Workaround is host file hack in container for mail-receiver to effectively forward mail to host :443 instead of resolved community IP.

I have meanwhile (shortly after Firefishy’s workaround) received a “post too short, please write more than 10 characters” in reply to my 212-character message quoted above.
