overpass-api on opensuse 13.1 - how to install?

i did not install the overpass-api on my opensuse 13.1 yet.
but i am willing to do so.

can i do this via yast or do i need to run several commands in terminal!?

Check overpass-api.de web page. It has all details on installing overpass API. However none of this is specific to opensuse.
