I use OSMand+ for IOS. I can record tracks in the field.
How do I export these recorded tracks to pc to edit them?
And after editing on pc: how to import them back to IOS-mobile?
Thank you, read that. On IOS mobile I can’t even load a recorded track to “my places”. So all following steps of the instruction are obsolete (at least on IOS).
If you’re not bound to OsmAnd I heavily recommend https://www.mytracks4mac.info/ or ‎Go Map!! on the App Store for recording tracks.
MyTracks syncs with a desktop app, Go Map!! can upload directly to Public GPS Traces | OpenStreetMap, where you could download your traces again.
What’s the reason to edit and reupload to your iPhone/iPad?
Maybe we can suggest something for that, too.
Hi David,
thank you for your message!
I’d love to keep things as simple as possible (one platform sshould be enough) - and after doing a little research I learned that there is an desktop-version of OSMand.
After upgrading to “pro” (39€ for one year) I can acess my mobile recorded tracks on the desktop version of OSMand, what is a very good solution for me to edit my recorded tracks. So my problem is solved, a bit expensive for hobby-usage but without spending to much in learning different platforms and work between them, so a time-saving solution.
Thank you!
Nico
