I noticed that the search results do not show recent changes.

Can you give example of failing search and what you expect to be found?

There have been some edits since then though.

Fixed. A background service which updates mediawiki jobs has locked up on 3rd December 2023 when I restarted a few other services.

I have restarted the job worker and it will catch up over next few hours or day.
