Global Energy Monitor is a nonprofit that produces worldwide datasets on energy production and infrastructure. We are working in partnership with TransitionZero on cataloging solar power installations worldwide in the Global Solar Power Tracker. As part of this effort, we are contributing information on solar power to OpenStreetMap, from July to December of 2023. This involves tracing solar panels and solar farms, as well as adding tags to indicate aspects of the panels and farms, such as power output and solar tracking.*
