I have lately tested and can warmly recommend the free software OsmAnd alternative Organic Maps.
See https://organicmaps.app/
For general car navigation I stopped recommending OsmAnd a long time ago. First I recommended maps.me but when that got locked down and the Organic Maps project came along I started recommending them.
https://mapy.cz is also definitely worth to see.
Thanks. Gonna try. I regularly use Osmand to check OSM lane taggings and other errors, and itβs pretty good at that.
The JOSM editor with the turn lanes plug-in makes if very easy to create or fix turn lane tagging. I have been adding road surfaces in my area and it is amazing how many turn lane errors then pop up on the check before saving the change set. Generally I can just select each way that is flagged as in error, open the turn lanes editing panel, close and save the panel without actually doing more than glancing at it, and the error is fixed.
