OpenStreetMap Foundation membership renewal notification mails result in 500

Probably due to openstreetmap.org being partly offline, the mails the foundation sent out for membership renewal (‘OpenStreetMap Foundation membership renewal notification’) eventually lead to a broken website for active mappers. When a mapper is asked to connect to their account, the server returns a 500 error.

These mails should not have been sent today. Perhaps a rectification follow-up mail is in order?

As far as I can see, the login was affected by the outage, which affects verification of active mappers. It should work again now.

A reminder that the MWG is severely understaffed. Please join the MWG.

As a quick fix just click on the link again now that service is restored.
