Norway - Fix Duplicated Highways

Hello OSM Norway,

Today I would like to announce a new MapRoulette challenge Norway - Fix Duplicated Highways for potential review and fixes of overlapping highways that cause confusing navigation, visualization issues, and data processing errors.

We identified highway segments that have overlapping geometry within a 0.5-meter buffer. Cases with correct level and layer information have been excluded. If a task is a false positive, please mark it as “Not an Issue”.

Overlapping highways (Fix Duplicated Highways) in OpenStreetMap can cause:

  • Confusing navigation: Incorrect or confusing directions.
  • Visualization issues: Inconsistent map rendering, such as doubled roads.
  • Data processing errors: Errors due to differences in tagging between duplicated segments.
  • Reduced map accuracy: Negative impact on overall usability and accuracy.
  • Editing difficulties: Challenges in future edits, especially with overlapping features.

Thank you @Wulfmorn . I will probably have more quality checks similar to fixing highways (duplicated nodes). I will be sending it soon.

All but one were real data issues, so it was a good one.
