Moving images from Imgur to Panoramax

Hi all,

MapComplete (of which I’m the developer) used imgur to upload images to for the past few years. However, last month, they cut of our upload possibility prompting us to setup [https://panoramax.mapcomplete.org](a panoramax instance).

As I’m scared that imgur will delete those images as well, I’m moving the older images to this instance as well and updating the objects. I’ve already done this for Flanders, which had about 10K images (and about 2.8% of the image tags in OSM)

Ik heb 200 tal afbeeldingen via mapcomplete en imgur op deze website gezet OpenPoiMap.org

Door de afbeelding in mapcomplete te verplaatsen van imgur naar Panoramax kan ik deze niet meer openen.

De afbeeldingen op imgur hebben een url, deze op panoramax niet. Kan iemand dit probleem oplossen.

Where are you trying to open it? On www.openstreetmap.org or somewher else (and where)?

Ummm, you’ve broken something at that link. Visible part says history/5 while a link leads to history/3. There were some errors fixed in the versions between them.

If you just open the latest version, i.e. Node: 10115318961 | OpenStreetMap it has proper panoramax=* tag, which seems to open normally here.

Note that openstreetmap.org website does not currently directly link to the picture - see openstreetmap-website issue 5200 for that.

Until that issue is implemented, one can use GitHub - deevroman/better-osm-org: A userscript that adds several useful features to osm.org β to display panoramax and other pictures directly (as well as bringing other UI improvements)

Het lijkt dat “openpoimap” nog geen panoramax-ondersteunt. Ik heb een issue gemaakt met de vraag dit ook te ondersteunen. Support Panoramax · Issue #2 · marczoutendijk/marczoutendijk.github.io · GitHub
