Clicked “Show My Location”, this was the result. I was zoomed in so it had the effect of adding a blue overlay over the entire map until I zoomed out to the view you see here. Does it make sense to apply a maximum value for the geolocation?

Well, it gives you info that location info provided for your device is horribly inaccurate.
