Попользовался этими картами. По сравнению с обычными бумажными планами удобства - только масштаб виднее. Неудобства:

Не говорит, соклько листов бумаги будет. У меня на 3 города выходило 75 страниц, и только самый-самый центр. На цветной печати это очень дорого, с меня просили 1500, я решил печатать на чёрно-белой. Бумажная карта в стороне от туристических троп стоит 5 евро и покрывает весь город.

Со стилями проблема: они очень примитивно пишут имена улиц, поэтому показывают меньше, чем влезает на бумажные карты.

Достопримечательности и отличительные места и здания только подписаны.
Выкинул бумаги от MapOsMatic, купил городскую печатную карту.
My MapOsMatic impressions: the advantage over a usual map is only that it’s more to scale and I can choose. But inconveniencies are many:
- It does’t tell you how many pages will be (though it prints at a certain scale).
I had 75 pages for 3 cities, covering just the very-very central part, not enough for walking, and it would cost me $50 to print in color. I chose black and white. A touristic map costs 5 euros and covers all the city.

Styles are still poor because it hides too many street names due to lines fragmentation. Too many streets are shown without names. In paper maps, every street has a name.

No public transports at all. Even tram lines are not present.

Landmarks and notable places are not chosen properly and just are written.
So altogether,
poor black and white MapOsMatic cost me 12,5 eur per city.
tourist map with all the transports costs 5 eur.
I know OSM is a lower layer db, but I don’t see any printed map made with it.
