Map update comment has not been addressed

Hello, I added a comment to openstreetmaps asking for an update to a location name on the map 20 days ago and it has not been fixed. Is there a better way to ask for updates?

Moses Ludington Hospital has a new name. Please update the name to:

Elizabethtown Community Hospital - Ticonderoga

You can see this on Google Maps here:
https://www.google.com/maps/place/Elizabethtown+Community+Hospital±+Ticonderoga,+UVM+Health+Network/@43.8494112,-73.4370274,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x4ccaaa08dedfeff1:0x4205909258de1af1!8m2!3d43.8494112!4d-73.4370274!16s%2Fm%2F04g3hs6?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDgyNS4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D

We are launching a new website using openstreetmaps on September 23 so it would be great to have this updated by then. I really appreciate your help.

The note: Note: 4944707 | OpenStreetMap

For small edits like this, the fastest method is edit yourself (OSM can be edited by anyone). Keep in mind that referencing Google Maps isn’t really helpful because is not a compatible source (we can’t use it for edit OSM).

Thank you, and I hate to ask but with launching today I have a lot going on…how do i edit it? (I only provided google map link to show it was a legit ask.)

Thank you!

NVM, figured it out.

Great!
But maybe there is an error:
Are you sure the name (address) of the street should be “101 Adirondack Drive” + housenumber 1019? Version 1 says “Wicker Street” housenumber 1019.

Thanks, I did not notice the house number. I changed it to the Suite number, which is part of their official address. 101 Adirondack Drive, Suite 1, Ticonderoga 12883

Looks odd to me, trice the same hospital name on the grounds, onetime suffixed with a heliport name.

I just need i referenced once. The heliport name was already there so I updated that but it is not necessary. Thank you.

Sure thing. When we will see these changes?

Depend son where you are using that data.

If you are just looking at the map on osm.org it will update within minutes, but you’ll have to clear your cache to get the new tiles (crtl+F5)

If you are using OSM data in any other map (like most outdoor apps and navigation) it will heavily depend on the app. A lot of them update map data once a month. some less often

Great, thank you. I see the new map on my personal laptop so all good. I appreciate all of your help.
