We have downloaded the PBF file(Data from 4th July) from geofabrik download server on July 5th 1:08:33 PM IST. We have observed data issues with this PBF file for a specific region in and around Pune city. It has impacted the routing with incorrect distances. Following are the screenshots for your reference,

Sure, What I was referring here in the Screenshot,
For the given locations when we consider for routing distance was shared is 113kms however the actual distance is around 600mts.
Start Location: 18.515082, 73.815453
End Location: 18.517125, 73.815200
This happened only with the 4th july PBF file.
Later when we tested with the 9th July PBF file for the same start and end coordinates the distance share is around 600 meters.
Hence we wanted to confirm if there was an issue with the 4th July PBF file. Please let me know if you need anything else. Thanks
113 kilometers is clearly rubbish. An actual link to the route on osm.org is this.
Recent history doesn’t show any changes that might have broken routing in that timeframe - and even if there had been, clearly no amount of “broken routing” is going to result in a 113km detour for a 600m journey. The PBF file just contains data extracted from OSM, so likely the problem was at your end - perhaps you tried to run graphhopper with half-updated data, or something.
I just wanted to confirm if there is any doc or any article where we can download the PBF file for India directly from OSM rather than downloading it from geofabrik download server ?
The OSM download page says " The complete planet is very large, so you may prefer to use one of several periodic extracts (individual countries or states) from third parties. GeoFabrik.de and BBBike.org are two providers of extracts with up-to-date worldwide coverage."
