Is there a way to shrink/customise db size by removing insignificant data

Hello everyone,
as some other newcomer I am about to self-host nominatim, as I want to use it for lightweight auto-completion and tagging those places on map upon entering a valid address, but don’t want to put stress on public servers.
Here comes the issue - as of now, I am not aware how much of a server space I am actually given, but 28 gigs european model has seem a lot to me, as I only need like addresses, local names and streets, but of those data I don’t require attributes like bounding boxes.
Is there a way to remove such things without breaking database/search, remove stuff like forests, benches and bike lanes (if such things are present)?
